Help for Unlocking your iTunes Downloads

I read about this software about a year and a half ago, and couldn't wait to see how it would actually work. Well over the weekend I found out that it had gone live and you were able to download it. I haven't tried it yet, but thought I would share the site with everyone.

One other thing of note, is that Toshiba had officially thrown in the towel on HD DVD which makes BlueRay the winner of the HD Format debate. Not that anyone cares, but they were the camp I was pulling for (larger disk capacity = more room for sound/video).

Have You Ever Wondered About the Other Story

I have to admit that Karate Kid is indeed one of my favorite all time movies. As I have matured and grown into an man (that's right a man) I couldn't help but be concerned about what happened to Johnny when Daniel Son won the big fight. If you share that thought with me then wonder no more. Watch this inciteful (and hilarious) video.

New Post . . . with a little something extra

Hello all. It has been a long time since I blogged anything, and my sister Marie was kind enough to chide me yesterday. Thank you for helping me overcome my slothfulness.

Life has been good for the Slade family. Since the last post we had a wonderful Christmas in Wisconsin. We were able to go to the Insight bowl and watch the game from the loge level (think free food and actual chairs in Sun Devil Statium).

I will try to improve my bloggery in the near future. Stay tuned for some BIG news (maybe, if you have guesses keep them to yourself).

Do Not get your hopes up; The jury is still out on this issue

Mean Automakers Dash Nation's Hope For Flying Cars

I for one was more excited than words could tell. . . too bad the jury is still out on this great invention.

Selling the Mercury! ! !

We have decided to sell the Mountaineer. What you say, "You just bought that car?" We realize the inherent silliness in selling so soon, but we also realize we don't need a car this size. Smaller is better for the newlywed Slades.

If you know if anyone looking we are only asking $19,800 and that includes a warranty that covers the car until 73,000 miles (current mileage is 41,900). Also it is loaded with flippin everything you could desire in a car. ; ]

"Well, the most important thing is to, drive fast."

NASCAR Coach Reveals Winning Strategy: 'Drive Fast'

so this is a pretty funny satirical video, especially since i don't necessarily enjoy nascar.

It Was So Friggin' Hot

Our house used to be rediculously hot. Two reasons; 1.) Western Exposur 2.) Giant Sliding Glass door getting that exposure. So we tried to put up some fine bamboo blinds behind our other blinds for kind of a double team effect. . . no luck. It seemed that no matter how cool we set the a/c it would still be above 80 in the afternoon. So we had the idea to glue black fleece on the bamboo shades, and bam things worked out for the cooler. It is so nice to have a comfortable house. Britt is happy too because I don't have to whine about wanting to move to a different apartment. All of this plus we will no longer have rediculously high electric bills.

Dinner with the (other) Slades

What can I say. We all had a blast, and enjoyed seeing them. Brittany and I also went and toured around the community of Estrella Mountain. It seemed like every corner had an "open house" sign on it. Just a sign of where the market is.

Not sure how this will work, but the link should show some pictures from the day.

You should know that most of the pictures are taken courtesy of Devan. She loved holding the camera.
