It Was So Friggin' Hot
Our house used to be rediculously hot. Two reasons; 1.) Western Exposur 2.) Giant Sliding Glass door getting that exposure. So we tried to put up some fine bamboo blinds behind our other blinds for kind of a double team effect. . . no luck. It seemed that no matter how cool we set the a/c it would still be above 80 in the afternoon. So we had the idea to glue black fleece on the bamboo shades, and bam things worked out for the cooler. It is so nice to have a comfortable house. Britt is happy too because I don't have to whine about wanting to move to a different apartment. All of this plus we will no longer have rediculously high electric bills.

great thinking dood! I am glad you have eliminated the heat wave!
I am impressed with your ingenuity. You have to block the windows somehow or else you will melt. and still get to pay for it.
Brilliant!
Very innovative!
Hey, I got your message...and then lost your number. No worries about anything. I see how resourceful you are, your idea is much better than moving. ;)
way to be inventive...I knew you would find a way, after all you love "technology". (that had nothing to do with being computer savvy, I just always love telling you that).
